What Is a Family Mini Session?
A family mini session is a short, fun, and easygoing photo shoot designed for up to six members of one family. It’s the perfect opportunity to capture beautiful, professional images without committing to a full-length session.
Mini sessions are held on specific dates throughout the year. On each mini session day, I photograph four to five families at pre-booked time slots. Each session lasts just 20 minutes—but that’s plenty of time to create a lovely set of images you’ll treasure.
The locations vary depending on the season and availability. From scenic parks and countryside spots to the beautiful beaches and open spaces around Brighton and Sussex, each backdrop is carefully chosen to provide a natural and stunning setting for your photos.
Mini sessions are a great way to update your family portraits without a big time or financial commitment. They’re ideal for families who want a few new photos to frame, share, or give as gifts—and for those who love documenting their children as they grow.
How it works
Two Easy Steps
Booking a mini photo session is simple and flexible, with two easy steps:
Step One: Reserve Your Session
To book your session date, a deposit of £125 is required. This fee saves your spot on my mini session calendar and includes a friendly pre-session chat, helpful prep emails, and phone support to make sure you're all set for the big day. This fee includes up to 15 photos.
Step Two: Pick Your Favourites
After your session, you’ll get to see and download all your photos as high resolution images. You'll also receive five museum-quality prints (up to 12" x 8" in size). In the shop link, you can also choose from a selection of framed photographs.

Once I send over your images, you can click on the shop link and you'll be directed to a virtual gallery where you can explore a variety of display options.
This interactive platform allows you to see how your images would look on different products such as high-quality prints, elegant frames, and sleek perspex wall art.
You’ll have the opportunity to customize your selections to suit your style and space — whether you're decorating your home, gifting a special memory, or curating a personal gallery wall. With multiple size and finish options available, it’s easy to find the perfect presentation.
After making your choices, your custom artwork will be professionally produced and delivered directly to your doorstep, ready to hang and enjoy.
